Oli was my instructor right at the beginning for my PPL and helped me with some advanced learning before I started my commercial course. A great lad with a horrendous haircut!
At the time I was one of Oli’s very first students but this didn’t show in his confidence to deliver a great course. Since then, Oli has grown into one of the country’s most experienced instructors and we actually conducted our examiners course together in 2020. Oli has now set up Yorkshire Helicopters and if it was operating when I did my commercial course, I would have done it there. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend anyone to go and learn at Yorkshire Helicopters.
When learning to fly, it is incredibly important to gel with your instructor, and it will be hard not to gel with Oli.
